Ultra Quat 100Å Series (for Quaternary Amines)

A retentive, high-purity, base-deactivated, reversed-phase packing. Ideal for the analysis of paraquat and diquat or other quaternary amines. Paraquat (1,1'-dimethyl-4,4'-bipyridylium dichloride, C₁₂H₁₄N₂Cl₂), and diquat (1,1'-ethylene-2,2'-bipyridilium dibromide, C₁₂H₁₂N₂Br₂), are non-selective contact herbicides, plant growth regulators and desiccants widely used in agriculture to control broadleaf and aquatic weeds.
