The beginnings of BGB Analytik AG go back to 1992, when the company "Labor für Gaschromatographie" (Lab for Gas Chromatography) was founded in September with locations in Rothenfluh (BL) and Adliswil (ZH). The first official agency was with Polymicro Technologies™ (USA). Chromatographic services and the production of PressFits have been two important mainstays from the start.
BGB Analytik AG emerged from the company "Labor für Gaschromatographie" in February 1993. The name BGB is made up of the first letters of the first names of the three company founders Bernhard, Georg, and Beat. In the same year the company was founded, BGB Analytik AG became the official agency of Restek® Corporation (USA). Various other partners and official agencies have been added over the years, and today BGB Analytik AG has more than 30 partners. BGB Analytik AG is proud to be able to provide independent advice. Not being tied to a specific device brand, they are able to find the best possible solution for their customers.
BGB Analytik AG’s constant growth prompted it to relocate from Rothenfluh (BL) to Anwil (BL) in 2000 and then in 2003 to the current location in Böckten (BL). The Böckten location, about 20 minutes by car from Basel, has 15 employees, a storage area of approx. 1000 m2, and various office and seminar rooms. It is a strategic and administrative focal point of the BGB locations in Germany, France, the Netherlands, the USA, and Turkey. The sales, customer service, warehouse management, marketing, accounting, and management divisions are all located in Switzerland at the Böckten site. Research and development, as well as production, are housed at the Adliswil site near Zurich.
