The 6 mm pathlength Flowcell has been optimized for lower-dispersion LC analysis and is the perfect choice when using narrowbore 2.1mm or microbore 1mm columns. The 3mm pathlength is the choice for semiprep LC to avoid detector saturation at high-solute concentrations.
